Modern Slavery Statement

Wastify AI Ltd (“Wastify”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is fully committed to preventing modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and child labour within our operations and supply chains. We recognise our responsibility under the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and are dedicated to acting with integrity and transparency in all business dealings.
This Policy sets out our principles, governance, and measures to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in any part of our business or in those of our suppliers.
Our Commitment
- We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery in all its forms.
- We ensure all employees, contractors, and suppliers are aware of and adhere to this Policy.
- We hold ourselves and our partners accountable to the highest ethical and human rights standards.
Scope
This Policy applies to:
- All employees, contractors, and consultants working for Wastify.
- All suppliers, resellers, distributors, and third parties in our supply chain.
- All hardware sourcing, including kiosks, RFID readers, scales, and other equipment provided as part of our services.
Governance & Responsibility
- The Board of Directors has ultimate responsibility for ensuring compliance with this Policy.
- The Data Protection & Compliance Officer oversees risk assessments, monitoring, and reporting.
- All employees are required to report concerns regarding slavery or trafficking through the channels outlined below.
Supply Chain Standards
- We source hardware (kiosks, scales, RFID components, tablets) and services only from approved and reputable suppliers.
- Supplier contracts include clauses requiring compliance with anti-slavery and labour laws.
- Suppliers who fail to meet these standards risk immediate termination of their agreements with Wastify.
Due Diligence
To prevent risks of modern slavery in our supply chain, Wastify:
- Conducts supplier onboarding checks, including labour and compliance questionnaires.
- Reviews supplier policies and modern slavery statements annually.
- Performs ongoing monitoring of high-risk suppliers.
- Reserves the right to audit suppliers where concerns arise.
Employee Awareness & Training
- All employees receive training on recognising and reporting signs of modern slavery.
- Procurement and operations staff are specifically trained to carry out due diligence when engaging new suppliers.
- Internal communication reinforces the importance of this Policy and reporting obligations.
Reporting Concerns
Employees, suppliers, and third parties are encouraged to raise concerns regarding modern slavery at the earliest possible stage. Reports can be made confidentially to:

Wastify commits to investigating all reports and taking appropriate action. Whistleblowers will not suffer any retaliation for raising concerns in good faith.
Remediation
If modern slavery or human trafficking is identified in any part of our business or supply chain, Wastify will:
- Take immediate steps to protect those affected.
- Terminate relationships with suppliers or contractors involved.
- Work with relevant authorities to ensure accountability and remediation.
Monitoring & Review
- This Policy is reviewed annually and updated to reflect legal, regulatory, or operational changes.
- Wastify will publish a Modern Slavery Statement (where legally required) summarising steps taken each financial year.
- Progress and compliance will be reported to the Board of Directors.
Approval
This Policy has been approved by the Board of Directors of Wastify AI Ltd.
