How does the weighing actually work?

Waste is weighed at source on Wastify Touch or Wastify Standard scales in the waste room. The operator selects the stream and the company, the scale records the exact weight, and a photo is captured with the record. RFID tags on bins can automate the company identification step.

What data does each waste record hold?

Weight, waste stream with its EWC code, the company that produced it, date and time, the disposal outcome, photo evidence, and the derived CO2e figures. Any number in any report can be walked back to the individual weighing it came from.

Do tenants or cleaners need training to use it?

A weighing takes seconds: place the waste on the scale, tap the stream, confirm. Porters and cleaning teams use it from day one, and the kiosk flow is designed so the fast path is also the correct path.

Does Wastify AI work with our existing waste contractor?

Yes. Wastify AI is contractor-independent: it measures what actually leaves your building, whoever collects it, and gives you your own record to check contractor reports and invoices against.
